Next Day

After last night, I called in this morning to say I'd be a little late so at least I would be able to think coherently in lab. I called half-awake but still managed what little Japanese I could to get my point across.

Dr. Saito is awesome... well and crazy. He came to work today and I met with him. He's very knowledgeable and seems to know everything I've read or talked about. Anyways after talking to him for a while he said he had to leave soon b/c he needed ivy drip antibiotics b/c his pneumonia was of a dangerous degree. And he came to work. Crazy.

Just now finally getting caught up on some things but I'm still exhausted. Coffee keeps me awake, but painfully so. Gah. I'll get somethin.
